Mountains shaped by heaven's tears

Topic was a bit dramatic, but it is true that it is rain that erodes the shapes of this lands. Correct name: Erosiones de Bolnuevo. Found in Mazarrón.
Just across the road, there is a beach and a rope swing :) I asked a child nicely if I could borrow the rope for a photo and she waited patiently.
Psychologists would be happy for the new material. "What does this look to you?"
Like a sea mushroom.
They might be entirely gone in a few hundred years. I touched the surface, and the small stones are easy to scratch off.
So they potentially could fall over you any second? That is at least a potential thought.
But also perfect for picknick and hanging out with friends.
 And taking photos, naturally.
Now it looks like a piece of cake someone squeezed in.
*film setting for a difficult pilgrimage*
And it's actually much closer than you think.
Desktop photo, anyone?
Landscape around is amazing enough to be used for actual films that take place on the moon.

Two special postcards

A preludium to a promised gift. The duck is so ducky I was afraid it would be x-rayed and not make it to the receiver.
This is the first letter addressed to me ever in Spain, but it took about eight months to retrieve it: I had moved before it reached me, and the restaurant next door kept it in the car and then at the bar.
Which was good, because it contained a time machine.
And a hologram! A trend in my mail box recently, it seems.
Never captured holograms on a photo before, that was an experience.
And a clear favourite: extra printed details on the other side.

Calasparra market!

Held traditionally on Fridays.
I attended thrice. Haven't figured out whether some vendors offer better products than others, which must be the case.
Surprisingly, some vegetables come from 100 km away - Albacete, for example, a city not particularly known for anything.
If you have not tried this before, it is a very nice feeling to shop everything fresh and get home and eat it all right away.
Talking a little more than 100 km.
June is the apricot season and they are so tender, so soft.
You can also acquire succulents.
Practically a green part of the desert!
Chicken and potatoes, a nice lunch option.
To sum up, vendors proudly (or bored) show up dried fish, cheese, sausages and foremost fruits fruits fruits vegetables vegetables vegetables.
 Also - candy.
Arrangements are very different. Some have lush crops bunched beautifully. Some have a few potatoes and withered leftovers spread out, so nobody goes there - but maybe that is the result of really good business in the earlier hours.

Hot days in Madrid, glimpse III

When my Spanish colleague A. found out I was going to Madrid, she And her husband sat down with me to give suggestions on what to do.
Teleferico de Madrid was one of them! We went both ways.
And the English digital guide surely told us very interesting facts, but did so in such a low voice that I didn't learn a single fact.
And the other end goes to the woods - a huge park - which has a theme park, fountains and a café at the point where you arrive, but it is not very well arranged. You could go for a run and bike, but it takes time to get to the theme park and there are no trees cut to facilitate great views. So, we went back.
Many people waived to us (not visible but I am telling the truth).
And it all looks so close! By foot, not much.
Cute cute cute.
If I recall it right, famous painter Goya had a house next to exactly this river.
Attractive quarters - maybe I just helped someone to make up their mind about moving to a flat here? :))
*inaudible fact* aha, cool.
Castle and Almudena cathedral - click for a rainy view from November.
Totally material for shooting movies and series, wide range.
"Landing" soon!
Always something special about seeing a city from above. Humans often say they would like to fly or even "to be a bird". And birds, do they ever go: "Hmmm I wonder what it's like to run a bank"?
Then we strolled around some more. Imagine having this at home? Glass shaped like a light bulb or a cactus, add a straw.

Bellamia is an Italian smoothie/ice cream bar and they know what they are doing. I mean, Italians know food, but here they offered me a WATER BASED smoothie (I could choose that or more cream based) which basically was a melted ice cream BUT with refreshing magic.

Why I do recommend Zootopia after all. SPOILER WARNING BIG TIME

 Because the actors are good.
Because Doug has scientific equipment that would never make it past the engineering drawings.
Because of all the culture and history references. The music play list, if you take a closer look, contains artists as Hyena Gomez, Kanine West, Fleetwood Yak, Catty Perry, Black Sable, Mick Jaguar, Guns N' Rodents, Destiny's Cub, Fur Fighters and the hit song Let It Goat.
As pointed out by Duke Weaselton, some films are for sale even before they reach the cinemas, like Floatzen 2 (Frozen 2), wow. (The actor that gives Weaselton his voice actually is an inside joke referring to that actor's previous film role with a very similar name.)
Because officer Hopps is the right rabbit for the job.
Because they have new apps, like with Shakira (Gazelle) as singer.
And their own Google, Zoogle.
Because it's funny and has genuine zebra crossings.
And giraffe buses.
 Because chief Bogo.
And you can watch the film many times discovering details like the zootopia dollar to the left.
Because many animals live in harmony and the city Zootopia has 12 climate zones simultaneously.
And least but not last: the nice music, the elegantly planned screenplay and the twists.
