The neutrality of social media online

As a Telia customer - Telia is a telecom company in Sweden - you can now surf for free when using social media: Kiik, Viber, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

This means omitting other social media, at least if one wants to "save surf".

What does this do with our social media behaviour? Are not telecom companies stay out of this and make the market as free for everyone? It makes it harder for other social media to compete, even get up to a competitive level.

Well. I am not totally against it. But it could be made more free: say, I get to spend no surf on five applications or webpages of my own choice - not what my telecom company chooses for me.
