Hello, dear reader! Here at my blog you will find glimpses of joy, Stockholm, my numerous museum visits, funny and serious stuff worth noticing - all in journalese and sometimes in Swedish. With this also comes a pinch of analyses and reflections. This is a dynamic blog, meaning I sometimes go back in the archive and update the posts. If you are following my blog from a phone, click on "View web version" at the bottom of the page - it facilitates the reading. Enjoy! /Jana :)

May I serve you a drink? Maybe water?
A friend's mother was renovating the kitchen, aided by carpenters and plumbers that were not from Sweden; I believe they were from Hungary. (This is relevant for the story, so if what you read below is not true for Hungary, I stand corrected. However, this is true for very many countries in the world.)
"Do you want coffee? Tea? Can I offer you anything?" she asked.
They only wanted water. It was so tasty and could be drunk directly from the tap, which fascinated them. Fresh water was all they wanted to drink throughout their stay.
