Communication in my heart

I do not know about you, but when I get letters, I run with a hammering heart from the letterbox, throw things around me - jacket on the couch, bag on the floor - and tear them open.
Two quotes from the letters and mails I have gotten recently are in particular noteworthy:
From work:
"[tomorrow] On Wednesday (yeah yeah long-term planning etc) there are gaming activities held <...> and other intellectual and linguistically funny games are going to be dealt with. Although boring games based on luck are strictly prohibited and we only intend to play challenging and intellectual games, do not get cold feet."
From a friend:
"[this] paper stolen from the regiment in charge in [town] X, camp Y. Oh yeah. Payed for with our own tax money. (The pen too.)"
